Behind Suovilla’s yarns, it’s just me — Anna.
A passionate knitter and an aspiring entrepreneur who has completely fallen for natural materials and Finnish wool. My love for natural dyes began back in 2015, but it’s only in recent years, thanks to my studies, that I’ve found the courage to start chasing my dreams around them.

My days are full of the busy rhythm of family life, my day job as an early childhood education teacher, and managing various chronic illnesses. But a study leave gave me the push I needed to follow my dreams of yarns and dyeing — and that’s what I’m aiming for now. Slowly but surely!

In the autumn of 2021, I began studying arts and crafts in Jyväskylä and graduated the following spring. Since then, my journey has continued towards a specialist qualification and the title of Master of Crafts.
