YARNS (RIITE AND HALLA)
HALLA is made of 100% Finnish combed wool, which gives it an incredibly soft feel and makes it pleasant against the skin. The yarn is dyed with natural colors in Suovilla’s own dyestudio in Toivakka.
If you’re unsure about the coarseness of Finnish wool, I warmly recommend exploring Halla’s delicate shades and feeling its soft texture yourself!
This yarn is perfect for hats, mittens, scarves, and sweaters — and it’s also a great choice for children’s knits.
Recommended needle size: 2.00 – 4.00 mm | US 0 - US 6 Yardage: 100 g = 360 m
100% Finnish combed wool Handwash
The lovely RIITE, made of 100% Finnsheep wool, is spun completely without spinning oil, using only water and steam. Thanks to this process, the fiber retains its natural qualities and feels wonderfully soft against the skin.
The yarns are dyed with natural colors, without electricity, in Suovilla’s own dyestudio in Toivakka.
With its soft feel, this yarn is well suited for mittens, hats, scarves, and sweaters. The natural lanolin left in the yarn also pampers your hands as you knit.
